CampWall Pro Put to the Test: Windy Conditions Over 45kph
When we designed the CampWall Pro, the goal was simple: create a windbreak tough enough for real Australian conditions. To prove it, we’ve been taking our prototypes out in the wild and putting them through situations that every camper faces.
Recently, we tested the CampWall Pro in sustained winds over 45kph, setting up on both soft ground and hard, compact ground to see how it performed.
On Soft Ground
Anyone who’s camped on wet soft ground knows how tough it can be to anchor a windbreak in. The CampWall Pro handled it with confidence. The reinforced anchor points, combined with heavy-duty steel pegs and guy lines, kept the wall firmly in place. Even in gusty conditions, it held its line, keeping the camp sheltered and the sand where it belonged.
On Hard Ground
Next, we set up on hard-packed earth, where securing poles can be equally tricky. Thanks to the telescopic aluminium poles and robust design, the CampWall Pro stood solid, with minimal flex even as the wind pushed across the panels. The top-mounted guy lines made a huge difference, adding stability exactly where it was needed.
The Result
In both conditions, the CampWall Pro proved itself as more than just another camp accessory. It’s a genuine barrier against the elements, giving you a calm, comfortable space to cook, relax, and gather around the fire, even when the wind is howling.
Whether you’re camping in soft coastal sand, hard inland country, or anywhere in between, the CampWall Pro is built to handle it.
Why It Matters
Wind doesn’t have to ruin your trip. With the CampWall Pro, you can turn up anywhere in Australia knowing that strong winds don’t mean a bad camping experience. It’s Australian Made, built tough, and tested in the wild, because that’s where it counts.
Camp hard. Gear harder.
The CampWall Pro is available now in 3- and 4-panel options.
